The EMVG is hosted by the St. Paul Area Chamber as a public service. The guide is not meant to be a comprehensive list of all candidates, but the opportunity to be included is extended to everyone who files for Mayor, City Council, or state legislative races within the East Metro area (Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington counties). Party affiliation, incumbency, or party endorsement status are not taken into consideration.
